Device Installation

1. Select device location with:

   • A strong wireless network signal
   • No metal panels (such as a wall or steel cabinet) between the device and the access point/router that provides your wireless network
   • Available mains power for the included power supply or a separate 5-24 VDC power source

2. Device Model

   • Temperature and Humidity:
     • Mount the sensor in the location you would like to monitor
   • Environmental Chamber:
     • Connect the data cable to the environmental chamber controller
   • UPS:
     • Connect the data cable to the serial DB-9 connector at the back of the UPS

3. Plug in device to power on

4. Set up the network as per the Device Network Setup

5. Device will restart automatically

   • Once the network connection is established the device will get the time from the internet
   • Once the time is set the device will begin collecting data and sending it to the database
